Steven Cheung Chi-Hang (born November 10, 1984) is a Hong Kong singer and actor. Steven Cheung was a member of the Cantopop duo, Boy'Z from 2002-2006, where William Chan joined in and the group was renamed Sun Boy'z. It was officially disbanded in December, 2008.
Cheung was born and raised in Hong Kong to a Dutch mother and a Chinese father[citation needed]. He has two elder sisters and a younger brother. One of his elder sisters, Jan Cheung, is a member of the Hong Kong Cantopop music duo Krusty.
As a young boy, Cheung has never had academic talent. He fared badly in school and repeated the same grade level at various times. He began modelling when he was a teenager and auditioned for the Emperor Entertainment Group before finishing high school. Despite being signed, but the company required him to finish high school, which Cheung relented.
Cheung began his career in the entertainment industry as one-half of the duo Boy'Z with Kenny Kwan in 2002-2005. When Kwan left Boy'Z in January 2005, Cheung continued the duo with Dennis Mak. In June 2006, William Chan joined Boy'Z and the group was renamed as Sun Boy'z (With "Sun" being a parody of the Cantonese pronunciation of "new"). Cheung continued to lead the group until it was disbanded in 2008.
In 2003, Cheung started filming movies with Kenny Kwan and has appeared in many movies such as The Death Curse, Bug Me Not!, The Haunted School and A Chinese Tall Story. In many movies he has appeared alongside Kwan and other members of EEG, mostly appearances of Twins. But when Kwan went solo in 2005, Cheung decided to pursue his acting career individually. A notable achievement for Cheung is in the movie Goodbye Luisa in 2005, where he starred his first lead with Isabella Leong. Also in the same year, he made a horror movie named The Haunted School, with his new partner Dennis Mak. In 2008, he starred a movie called Yes, I Can See Dead People and played the main lead himself.
